We are here to help during this pandemic in any way we can and we understand that you may be dealing with a financial hardship due to COVID-19. Here is a summary of temporary updates/resources that we have put in place for our members. COVID-19 Relief Loan
(effective date = April 1, 2020)
If you have suffered a financial hardship due to COVID-19 you may qualify for a COVID-19 Relief Loan. All current SIUE Credit Union members are eligible for our special COVID-19 Relief Loan
Am I eligible for this loan? | If you were a member on March 27, 2020 you are eligible to apply |
How much can I Borrow? | One month of income (up to $5,000) |
What is the Interest Rate? | 0% APR for the first 6 months of the loan – then reverts to 9.9% APR through the maturity of the loan |
How long can I take to pay it off? | Maximum of 48 months – varies with amount of loan |
When is my first payment? | Deferred to 60 days after the loan origination date |
What do I need in order to apply? | Members must submit 1) verification from employer that his/her pay/hours have been reduced due to COVID-19 and 2) most recent pay stub (prior to reduction of hours/pay) showing YTD earning to verify income prior to COVID 19 |
